Masters level qualification with a specialization in business/ corporate/ commercial law.
A minimum of 4 years relevant academic experience with primary delivery in English and have demonstrated the ability to contribute to high quality teaching in Bahraini law & sources of law, legal concepts and theories in the context of both domestic and international law, basic principles of contract law, tort and the principles of duty of care using common law and the civil code, company law, intellectual property rights, alternative dispute resolution and the impact of the free trade agreement in Bahrain.
At least 2 years relevant industry experience in a law firm in applying legal principles to analyze cases relating to contract law, torts, company law, intellectual property law and alternative dispute resolution
Experience with course and programme development in law at tertiary level
PhD in business law, Professional qualifications and certifications and membership in professional bodies are desirable.
